BEGINNING OUR EXPEDITION:  Depart USA aboard your International flight to Europe to connect with our flight to Johannesburg. 

Day 2: Feb 17

CHANGE PLANES IN EUROPE:  Depart Europe aboard your International flight to Johannesburg, South Africa. 

Day 3: Feb 18

SUN CITY: Upon your early morning arrival at the Johannesburg  International Airport, you will be met by an English-speaking guide and  transferred to Sun City. For your stay at the Deluxe (5) Star Palace  hotel, where you will be lavished with their grand hospitality. The  remainder of the afternoon; at leisure, to explore the complex on your  own. Dinner at the Calabash Restaurant, where you will be met in a true  African style the Calabash is where sensational tastes will meet from  the North and South and will tantalize the most jaded taste buds. 

Day 4: Feb 19

SUN CITY/JOHANNESBURG: Breakfast at the hotel. Late morning  transfer to Johannesburg. On our way, we will embark on a half-day tour  to Soweto, the Name that is etched in the minds of every person that  desires freedom and equality. It is the home for the great Nelson  Mandela and Bishop Desmond Tutu. The ground of Soweto is soaked with the  blood of the heroes that have died fighting for the cause of freedom  against the might of the armed forces of South Africa. Men, woman and  children alike have shed their blood in Soweto. We will have a stop at  the Mandela house. We continue to Johannesburg to the luxurious  Westcliff Hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant. 

Day 5: Feb 20

JOHANNESBURG, KAPAMA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE: After breakfast, we  will board our deluxe motorcoach to transfer to one of the most famous  national parks in the world and the oldest in Africa. Upon arrival  embark on one of the most fascinating game drives you could ever take  with an English-speaking ranger. 

Day 6: Feb 21

KRUGER NATIONAL PARK:  Spend the next two days at leisure, your  stay will be steeped in legend and history, the iconic Kruger National  Park is waiting for you to explore its landscapes and spectacular  legendary African wildlife. During your stay at this privately-owned  deluxe lodge your breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included at the  Lodge. 


Day 7: Feb 22

KAPAMA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE/CAPE TOWN:  Today we bid this majestic  place goodbye, after breakfast, we board our bus to transfer to Kruger  Mpumalanga International airport, for your flight to Cape Town. Upon  arrival, you will meet your new English-speaking guide and embark on a  city orientation sightseeing tour, passing by the Company Gardens, the  South African Museum, The Bo-Kaap, Houses of Parliament and the Castle  of Good Hope. Continue to your hotel for dinner and overnight. 

Day 8: Feb 23

CAPE TOWN/ROBBEN ISLAND:  After breakfast, transfer to Table  Mountain. Since the first person laid eyes on Table Mountain, it has  exerted its powerful and charismatic pull, enchanting and drawing any  and all who fall under its spell. The way to the top has never been  easy, and for many centuries only a handful of bold and enterprising  people could say that they had climbed it. That is why we will take the  aerial cable-way to the top. Since its opening in 1929, over 16 million  people have taken the trip to the top of Table Mountain. The Table  Mountain cable-way has since become something of a landmark in Cape Town  and has carried some of Cape Town's most illustrious visitors including  King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II, as well as Oprah Winfrey. After  our adventure, we transfer to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront to  embark on a scheduled tour to Robben Island where Nelson Mandela served a  gruesome prison sentence. Dinner and overnight at Southern Sun  Waterfront. 

Day 9: Feb 24

FULL DAY WINELANDS:  Today we will travel to Franschhoek for a  visit to the Huguenot Museum and Memorial. Enjoy a wine tasting and  cellar tour at one of the world-renowned wine estates in the region.  After this enjoyable experience, we will continue to the historic town  of Paarl simply a 40-minute drive outside Cape Town, at the foot of the  second-largest granite outcrop in the world, you’ll find an unexpected  jewel. The scenic beauty of the Paarl Valley compels visitors to get in  the car and drive along the many scenic routes in the valley and along  the surrounding mountains. The richness in fauna and flora even  attracted the attention of Charles Darwin, father of the theory of  evolution, when he visited Paarl in 1836. Continue to Stellenbosch, is a  town in the Western province of South Africa, situated about 50  kilometers (31 mi) east of Cape Town, along the banks of the Eerste  River. It is the second oldest European settlement in the province,  after Cape Town. The town became known as the City of Oaks or Eikestad  in Afrikaans to the large number of oak trees that were planted by its  founder, Simon van der Stel to grace the streets and homesteads. Return  to Cape Town for dinner.  

Day 10: Feb 25

FULL DAY CAPE PENINSULA:  Embark on a full-day tour of the Cape  Peninsula, drive via Camps Bay to Hout Bay for a cruise to Seal Island.  Continue to Cape Point Nature Reserve, located at the southwestern tip  of Africa, in the Cape of Good Hope section of the Table Mountain  National Park, Cape Point has captivated travelers for centuries with  its dramatic scenery and fascinating history. Via Chapman’s Peak Drive  winds its way between Noordhoek and Hout Bay. Situated on the Atlantic  Coast, at the south-western tip of South Africa, it is one of the most  spectacular marine drives anywhere in the world. The 9km route, with its  114 curves, skirts the rocky coastline of Chapman's Peak, the 593m high  southerly extension of Constantia Berg. The drive offers stunning 180°  views with many areas along the route where you can stop and take in the  scenery Visit the craft-market outside Cape Point, visit Boulders Beach  Penguin Colony. Return to your hotel for overnight. 

Day 11: Feb 26

CAPE TOWN/GANSBAAI:  Gansbaai is known as the great white shark  capital of the world and is only a two-hour scenic drive from Cape Town.  It is here that Great White Shark Tours will make your dreams come  true! The experienced crew will share their vast knowledge of the water  world where they operate when they take you to view great white sharks  from the surface or underwater from a cage. This marine wonderland is  the closest place in the world where you can safely see these apex  predators in their natural environment. 

Day 12: Feb 27

CAPE TOWN/USA:  Day of Leisure. Tonight, we bid farewell to our memorable journey to this most fascinating and beautiful country.

GROUND/TRANSFERS: Transfers and ground  transportation to\from airport/hotel by Deluxe Air-conditioned motor  coaches. Land Only passengers responsible for transportation to and from  airport/hotel.

HOTELS: Deluxe Five Star Class hotel  accommodations. Priced on the basis of two persons sharing a room with a  private bath and shower. A limited number of single rooms are available  at regular supplement prices.

GUIDES: Daily guided tour by licensed Guide among the most knowledgeable in the country.

PORTERAGE:  Fees and charges for the porterage of one piece of baggage per person  not to exceed 50lbs, in connection with all transfers and at airports  throughout the entire itinerary are included. An overnight bag may also  be carried, provided it remains in the possession of the passenger at  all times. This bag, although carried personally, is considered part of  your total luggage allowance.

The $500 per person deposit is nonrefundable. Deposits and other  payments exceeding the $500 per person are refundable in full up to  sixty days prior to departure. After this date, refunds for unused  accommodations and services will be limited to the amount received from  and/or credited by all carriers, sightseeing operators and hotels.
